This adapter makes it easy to connect your radio, intercom, or other 12V accessory to the cigarette lighter power / accessory socket.
The binding posts are color coded red (+) and black (-) and also accepts banana plugs, spade terminals or bare wires.
The plug includes a 10 amp fuse for safety and has dual-side ground contacts for a solid mechanical and electrical connection. Recommended maximum current is 10 Amps.
For use with powerful mobile radios, we recommend you rewire the cigarette lighter with higher gauge wire, directly to the battery.
